Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) President Eden Keefe addresses attendees alongside LCMS President Rev. Dr. Matthew C. The Brocks (not pictured) received an LWML grant to the LCMS Office of International Mission (OIM) totaling $74,500 on behalf of Tanzania Children's Homes in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania — South-East of Lake Victoria Diocese. Also presented by Keefe was a grant to the OIM for $80,000 to support "Water and the Word," a project to provide clean drinking water in close proximity to pastoral care in the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Kenya.
