Terrence Maeschen, a senior student with Mt. Calvary Lutheran Student Fellowship at South Dakota State University, helps gut the interior of a home damaged by the September flooding on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, in Pinewood Springs, Colo. Maeschen is one of seven students and one vicar who traveled to the ravaged area for volunteer relief work.
